+234ARTFAIR is about nurturing and uplifting the burgeoning art industry in Nigeria by providing a platform that supports emerging artists and encourages increased interest in art acquisition, thereby contributing to the growth and prosperity of the local art sector as well as its international recognition.
This fair offers an immersive showcase of painting, photography, and sculpture providing the public with an up-close look at the latest creative endeavours of emerging artists and photographers in Nigeria
Event Overview
In 2024, the event had over 1000 submissions to our open call
We received close to 10,000 visitors during our 10-day duration, an average of 900 visitors each day
We became the number one trending topic on X(Twitter)
We showcased over 700 artworks, featuring 200 artists, had 31 facilitators for our 12 Masterclasses and workshops
Our partners included Lagos Photo Festival, Bonzai’
